After developing a passion for the business as a young employee in an Atlanta car dealership, he set off to chart his own course by opening a used car lot. The key to his success was treating every customer as he would want to be treated, and it wasn't long before his efforts were rewarded by earning his first new car franchise.

Sam and his wife, Kay, raised their four children while still being active members of their church and community. They celebrated every milestone and always considered his long hours and hard work to be a necessary investment in turning their American dream into a reality.
