Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Jeep with an Anniversary Edition of the Renegade, Grand Cherokee or Wrangler Unlimited

Jeep is firmly established in the American psyche as the quintessential outdoor adventure vehicle. But not everyone knows that Jeep is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2017. Jeep's roots stretch all the way back to the World War II, when Willys Jeep models, arguably the oldest four-wheel drive vehicle, were deployed en masse by the U.S. Army and the Allies in both Europe and the Pacific. The civilian models rolled out in the late 1940s.

Today the original Jeep concept lives on as the two-door Wrangler. But to celebrate this milestone anniversary, Jeep is produced special 75th anniversary editions of all the vehicles in its current lineup, including the Compass, Renegade, Wrangler Unlimited (the four-door version of the Wrangler), the Grand Cherokee, the Cherokee and the Patriot.

Each 75th Anniversary Jeep model has specials accents and/or features that distinguish it from the regular lineup. The special edition Jeep Renegade, for example, features a 75th Anniversary Badge, bronze accents on the grille, My Sky® removable roof panels and the BeatsAudio™ premium audio system. The Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary edition Laredo is loaded. It has an exclusive wheel color, and a "Recon Green" exterior with bronze accents. Inside, this version of the Grand Cherokee can be outfitted with either Morocco black seats or Morocco black and sandstorm seats with tangerine stitching. It has the UConnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a power sunroof and heated seats and steering wheel.

These are just two examples how Jeep has chosen to differentiate its models for this special 75th anniversary year.
